marketing- coca cola as a brand is no stranger to collaborations. From celebrity sponsors such as singer Rosalia, Selena Gomez, even Elvis Presley. in addition, during Christmas season, coca cola has Santa heavily marketed with a coke at all times.
products- coca cola is not just beverage. it's a brand. with drinks such as sprite, ginger ale, and Fanta orange, people have option's that go beyond just coca cola.
the name- coca cola is a strong name when it comes the industry. as it is most well-known and well received with consumers and investors.
weakness
health and safety- with health concerns surrounding coke products, it negatively affects the brand.
packaging- all coke products are packaged in plastic and cans which can be harmful to the environment if not disposed of properly.
Air pollution- several factories have contributed to air pollution. coca cola is no stranger to it. lawsuits can happen which lead to bad press which poor outlook on the brand.
opportunity
environmental- if possible, coca cola can switch to more environmentally friendly packaging which will help the brand gain more reach and sponsors.
variety- coca cola can bring more flavors to its products which will lead to more outreach and feedback that could be positive for the company.
digital media- with social media growing every day in users, coca cola can easily gain traction themselves with digital marketing and advertisements.
threats-
markets- coca cola potential threats include rival products like Pepsi. if any bad press would happen, the competition would be the first to respond.
distributions- if any product would happen to be lost or destroyed while in transit, it would cost the company money and loss in profits.
product image- if the product gets bad press, then sales will go down. this could include health risks due to the product, or risky advertisement.
